"Daymares"  (excerpt)

 While we were together
 They painted the sky
 I looked out and saw
 A Michelangelo
And when I saw in my chair
 It smiled

 I wondered
Can I walk down the street
 With my earlobes dancing
 I might be arrested

 Dressing was difficult
 Clothes would not come on
 My coat tightened
 The shoes were hiding

 I started to walk
My head in a cloud of you
I fly like a drunken pilot

"Sticks And Stones"   (excerpt)

Love is like water
It can take any shape
What is our love like?

If I were the page
And you the printed word
We would be together
My leaf and your letter
Until we both would crumble

If I were the flower
And you my stately stem
We would grow together
Through all kinds of weather
Until the snow would fall

If I were red wine
And you my tilted bottle
We'd spend centuries in cellars
And when they broke you open
I would not come out
